Universal Orlando Premier Resort Perks

You know when we talk about the perks of staying at a Premier Resort at Universal Orlando we typically focus on the Express Pass Unlimited being included. Which don't get me wrong, that's probably the biggest perk for me, but the proximity of these resorts is also unbeatable.
This photo was taken right off the walking trail from the Premier Resorts to the front entrance of Universal Studios. Yep, you literally turn off the path and it's right there! And do you notice anything about this photo? Like the lack of people. The walking trail + Early Park Admission puts you getting there to be one of the first families into the park. Not only do you get first access to attractions, but you get some great shots of your family without hundreds of people in the background too.
Don't want to walk? That's okay too! Water taxis will drop you off in the heart of City Walk, putting you a short distance from the park entrances!

Airport Travel Tip

This is one of the travel tips that I cannot stress enough: always give yourself spare time when it comes to the airport.

For international flights that means arriving three to four hours before departure. For domestic flights, you should plan on two to three hours in advance. Lines can be very long at ticket counters, baggage check, and security. If you cut it too close you run the risk of missing your flight, which just isn't worth it.

Adventureland Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Recipe

The Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from Adventureland in Magic Kingdom are one of my favorite treats. So much so that I came home and had to learn how to make them. Continue for instructions and ingredients!

Food in Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom

There’s no denying that Pandora is one of the prettiest parts of Animal Kingdom. But it’s also home to some really yummy, especially for theme parks, food!

Pool Day at Disney World Resorts

If you’ve ever been to Disney World you know it can be exhausting (and if you haven’t…well now you know the secret!) One of the best ways to relax and beat the Florida heat, is to spend a day at one of your Disney resort hotel’s swimming pools! Yes, plural. Most resorts will have multiple pools ranging from quiet pools to great, big family fun-sized pools.

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Animal Kingdom Lodge could not be any more peaceful!
Fun fact: if you are not able to splurge on a Savanna View Room, there are so many overlooks around the resort to see different animals. Lots of peaceful moments to be found!

Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone at Storybook Treats

How cute is this? The Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cones at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom rotate and each is a unique and delicious flavor.

I was able to try the Happy Cone ($5.99) which is a chocolate-banana soft serve. It was so good!

Yak & Yeti Restaurant in Animal Kingdom

Dinner at Yak & Yeti never disappoints! Some of the best food you'll find inside the theme parks at Walt Disney World.

Best Kid Friendly Pool at Disney World

I know, I know. “We can swim at home.” But, seriously, Disney has some of the best pools! While I love that the pools at moderate and deluxe resorts have slides, one of the best pools on property can be found at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. 🐟That’s the Big Blue Pool, located in the Finding Nemo Section. While it does not have a slide, it features:
✨Music that plays underwater
✨A kids splash play area
✨A nearby playground
✨A poolside bar with refillable mug station
✨Movies shown poolside each night
This resort also features The Cozy Cone pool in the Cars Section, which has first-come cabanas as well as the Flippin Fins pool in the Little Mermaid section, so lots of options to cool off.

My Favorite Resort at Disney World

My favorite Walt Disney World Resort is Disney’s Riviera Resort. It’s designed to capture the magic of Europe that Walt Disney fell in love with once upon a time ago, and it definitely does! The resort features some of the most unique and beautiful art work and there’s just an amazing ambiance. The resort also features:
☕️An authentic Parisian Cafe
🍳The best Character breakfast
🚎Disney’s Skyliner Access
👙2 Swimming Pools
🏋️Fitness Center
✨and more
We loved the 1 Bedroom Villa which features a king bed, queen size pull down bed, and a single pull down bed, a full kitchen, dining area, washer + dryer, a split bathroom, a self cleaning jetted tub, and a private porch or balcony.

Best Resort Pool at Disney World

🏖Stormalong Bay, shared by Disney's Beach & Yacht Club Resorts, is hands down the best Disney Resort pool! It's 3 acres of aquatic fun featuring:
✨A Sand Bottom
✨A 230 Foot Water Slide
✨A Lazy River
✨3 Whirlpool Spas
✨Gently Sloping Entry
✨Sandy Beach
✨Shipwreck Pool w/ Mini Waterslide
✨Elevated Tanning Deck
✨Poolside Cabana Rentals
✨and more!
Do you love a good pool day on vacation?

Accomodations for Larger Families at Disney World

🏞Are you a family of 5-6 and not sure if you can afford to stay on-site for a Disney World Vacation? Ask me about the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These cabins feature:
✨1 Queen Bed, Bunk Beds, and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa
✨Full Kitchen and outdoor grill
✨Boat access to Magic Kingdom
✨A great pool with a waterslide
✨Dog friendly accomodations
✨Early Park Entry
✨and more!

Disney's Beach Club Resort

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite resorts. Take a few steps into the lobby and tell me it doesn’t smell like heaven! Some of my favorite things include:
🍦Beaches and Cream is one of my favorite restaurants and if you’re not looking to eat, their milkshakes are divine
🚡Within walking distance of Epcot & the Epcot Disney Skyliner depot
🎢There’s a walking path to Hollywood Studios, about a 20 minute walk
🏖️Crescent Lake Beach is the perfect spot to read a book and relax after a long day at the parks
👙Storm along Bay features one of the best pools at Disney World, including a 230-foot slide
Have you stayed at Disney’s Beach Club or is it on your bucket list?

Can You Do the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in One Day?

💫One of the top questions I get asked about Universal Orlando is, “Can I see all of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in one day?”
While I can’t always say you’re going to get to see and do everything in one day, because there’s just so many amazing things to see and do, but I do have an itinerary that will help you set a game plan for your must-do’s to so you can maximize your time!
Just another one of those reasons to have a Travel Agent in your corner 😉
