I have had high hopes for The Edison since it opened and it did not disappoint!
Reimagined Rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Friday, March 5, 2021
We stayed at Disney's Polynesian Villas back in September and the first thing I said was, "these rooms need an overhaul." I am so excited to see that not only are they getting some much needed refurbishments, but it's one of the most beautiful refurbishments we've seen so far!
Everglazed at Disney Springs
Monday, March 1, 2021
I'll preface this by saying that I am a donut snob and I can identify a stale donut almost instantly. And that is exactly what I got. A very stale, hard donut.
With that said, they were very new, very busy, and I guess I just got unlucky and got a very stale donut in the process. Thankfully all the delicious toppings help mask it. Another plus is that there are a ton of options and combinations, so I would be happy to try again.
2021 Epcot Festival of the Arts
Monday, February 22, 2021
The 2021 Epcot Festival of the Arts was a blast! This years festival ran January 8 - February 22, 2021. The culinary and beverage teams created many new tastes and sips for this year's festival and brought back several fan favorites. I'm excited to share of my favorites (and not so favorites) with you!
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
Wednesday, February 17, 2021
The Crystal Palace is that one restaurant at Disney World that will always bring me back to being a kid. I can vividly remember the first time I went here, the first time I took my husband here, and it truly feels like time stood still (but in a good way.) This has previously been a buffet experience, which was nothing extraordinary, so I was very excited to try the new family-style menu!
Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Sunday, February 7, 2021
I can't believe it's been 3 years since I was last at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It's still as fun and beautiful as I remember and I was happy to see some changes!
Milk Stand in Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios
Monday, January 18, 2021
Approaching the Milk Stand in Galaxy's Edge you'll notice fun blue and green baubles. It looks inviting and fun and makes for great pictures. That's the only positive for my experience.
The drinks are described as "frosty confections." The ingredients for the blue milk even seemed pretty simple; plant based blend of Coconut and Rice milk with alluring fruit characteristics. I didn't get any of the "fruit characteristics." There are very few things at Disney that I describe as "absolutely terrible" but this is one of them. I thought this tasted like an $8 cup of liquid fabric softener. I would only recommend this if you are just looking for an $8 photo prop.
