Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom

If you are like me and hate food waste, Cosmic Ray's is the place for you. Their entrees can easily be split between two people. And the burgers are huge and come with a large side of fries. They have a 1/3 lb/ Angus Bacon Cheeseburger ($11.99) and a 1/3 lb. Angus Cheeseburger ($10.99) on the menu. If you need a little something extra, the Kid's Menu Macaroni & Cheese is $6.69 a decent portion size too! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($11.99) os also a large portion and very good.

Cheshire Cat Tail in Magic Kingdom

The Cheshire Cat Tail dessert is a puff pastry twisted with chocolate and drizzled with pink and purple icing. It's flaky and just delicious! Did you know that these are currently being offered at Cosmic Ray's and the Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom? But guess what? The Cheshire Cafe has reopened and I can't wait to stop by soon! Be sure to add this to your "must try" list!

Flory Farm Airbnb in Kentwood, Louisiana

We have impatiently waited all summer to go back to Flory Farm! My daughter choose this as her "back to school trip" over the beach and Disney World. Yes, Disney World! It's such a beautiful place.

Yachtsman Steakhouse, Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, and More Reopening!

I'm so excited that more restaurants are reopening at Walt Disney World in the next few weeks! Starting August 5, you can enjoy delicious seafood at Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom Park! Seafood favorites are back, including the Lobster Roll and Trio Platter with a combination of fried fish, fried shrimp, and chicken strips served with hushpuppies and french fries or green beans. Guests craving something other than seafood can try the Lighthouse Sandwich (hummus with tomato and broccoli slaw on multigrain bread) now comes with french fries or the Harbour Salad – a mix of greens, shredded cheddar, apples, onion, apple cider vinaigrette, and topped with chicken strips.

The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs

I love Poutine! Hot, thick French fries loaded with cheddar cheese curds and beef gravy...what's not to love?

Dining Off The Kids Menu at Disney World

Did you know that you can find more affordable, and filling, meals on the Kid's Menu at some quick service and table-service restaurants at Disney World?

One of my favorite Table-Service breakfasts is super affordable! I order the Kid's Mickey Waffles which comes with 2 Mickey Waffles and your choice of 2 selections like: turkey sausage, sausage, bacon, banana bread, or grapes. I always get the Olivia's Famous Grits and a cappuccino. Super filling breakfast and very affordable!

Dole Whip at Disney World

There is nothing quite as refreshing as a nice Dole Whip on a hot day at Disney. I'm excited to share with you some awesome options around Walt Disney World!

Woody's Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios

I love Woody's Lunch Box. It's really fun and they have good breakfast and lunch options! I was super excited to see that they had the Lemon-Blueberry Lunch Box Tart ($4.29) which is my new favorite, move over Chocolate Hazelnut and Raspberry!

The Totchos ($9.99) were delicious, like always! Super simple, just tator tots, beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, Queso with tomatoes, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions, but really good.

The BBQ Brisket Melt ($12.99) was also very good. Shredded smoked brisket, pickles, tangy barbecue sauce, melted cheddar and monterey jack on a grilled sourdough bread. It also comes with a side of tots.

Breakfast at Yak & Yeti Local Foods in Animal Kingdom

If you are planning to rope drop Animal Kingdom to head straight to Flight of Passage, I have a great breakfast recommendation for you! When you get done head over to Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes and they have these huge breakfast bowls. We could have easily split one. They come with your choice of bacon or sausage ($11.49) and the side of hash brown bites were $4.99. Great value for a big breakfast!

If you are looking for something sweet they also have pancake and sausage sticks and french toast on the kid's menu!

Kakamora Float at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom

In general, I am a Dole Whip fan. I love a good Dole Float, I love the Raspberry Swirl, I love the Coconut Cup, I'm not hard to please when it comes to Dole Whip. But my new favorite is the Kakamora Float ($6.99) which is coconut soft-serve on top of Pineapple Juice and Blue Curacao syrup, with a chocolate Kakamora Cake Pop (so it's kind of like two snacks in one!) So refreshing on a hot Florida day and super yummy. You can get it in the souvenir Tiki Sipper for $11.99.

Gaston's Tavern in Magic Kingdom

I'm always asked for my money saving Disney World tips and sharing food and going for things that are large portions are always part of those tips. And this is one of those meals. The Warm Cinnamon Roll ($6.49) at Gaston's Tavern is huge (and also very delicious!) It's warm and sweet and just perfect. It's also big enough that 3 adults will struggle to finish it.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort

We had dinner at Beaches & Cream and got the French Dip Sandwiches, which were really good! But the best part of the meal was definitely the Minnie Souvenir Sink ($23.00.) There was just no way that we could handle the Kitchen Sink ($35.00)

The Minnie Souvenir Sink includes vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream topped with pineapple, strawberry, hot fudge, peanut butter, whipped cream, Oreo cookies, chewy brownie, assortment of sprinkles and morsels, and cherries.

You also get to take the sink with you as a souvenir, but keep in mind you have to go and wash it out, so it's a bit of a messy souvenir, but super cute once it's all cleaned up!

Docking Bay 7 at Disney's Hollywood Studios

On a previous trip to Docking Bay 7 we got the Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato Stir-Fry, which was very good. This time around I got the Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip ($15.49) with Crispy Chicken served with House-Made Macaroni & Cheese and Roasted Vegetables. Is it what you expect when you order Fried Chicken? No. But it was okay for theme park food. I would probably get the Beef if I went back.

In the background are the Klatooine Paddy Frog sippers (one with the light on and one with it off.) These are $15.99 with a fountain drink or $17.49 with Moof Juice (Simply Fruit Punch, Simply Orange, and Chipotle-Pineapple.)

Dole Whip Float with Coconut Rum at Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is always the hottest park. There's just not as many air conditioned areas to escape to (so when you can find a show or a nice and cool shop, enjoy it!) It's important to find a nice and cool treat from time to time. One of my favorites is a yummy Dole Whip Float from Tamu Tamu Refreshments. The Dole Whip Float is $5.99 or you can get one with Coconut Rum for $11.00 (I love the one with Coconut Rum!) You can also grab a Dole Whip Cup with Coconut Rum for $10!

The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando

Being a huge Harry Potter fan there is no way that I can go to Universal Orlando and not eat at the Leaky Cauldron. Come on, it's iconic! The location serves traditional British food like Bangers and Mash, Fisherman's Pie, Ploughman's Platter, Toad in the Hole, and even Fish and Chips for the kids.

Sleepy Hollow Breakfast in Magic Kingdom

So, your plan is to "rope drop" Magic Kingdom but you aren't quite sure what to do about food? I've got you covered! Obviously you're rope dropping and very likely have plans to go straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? Am I right or am I right?

Once Sleepy Hollow opens, at the parks official opening time, you'll be able to mobile order your breakfast. This can be done in-line while waiting for the attraction, or you can plan to hit Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, head over to Peter Pan's Flight, and mobile order while you wait for it. Once you receive notification that your order is ready, you're a quick walk over to Sleepy Hollow!

I am so excited to announce that Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort will reopen on July 15, 2021! This newly reimagined dining experience lets you dine "underneath the lovely London Sky" and will have special touches that pay homage to Mary Poppins Returns!
