Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is one of my favorite moderate resorts! The Royal Rooms here are so much fun and have so many perfect Disney touches.

Deluxe Studio at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House

Jambo House is adjacent to Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is one of the most beautiful resorts on property!

Relaxing Resort Day at Walt Disney World

Some Disney vacations are spent entirely in the theme parks, but we love a good down day. When you're planning to have a good rest day at Disney, it's so important to pick a resort that has amenities to fit your needs. I love Port Orleans - Riverside and Port Orleans - French Quarter because these two resorts share amenities, so you receive double the options, and the resorts themselves are so peaceful and lovely!

Oga's Cantina in Hollywood Studios

Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios is such a unique place, but the food is a bit weird!

Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Pre-Party

One of the things I have most looked forward to was the return of the Fireworks Dessert Parties at Walt Disney World!

Lunch at Garden Grill at Epcot

Garden Grill is always such a fun experience. I love to ride Living with the Land and see all the food that is grown (and used at the restaurants in Epcot) and then head to Garden Grill to enjoy that Farm-Fresh food! And of course, rotating around scenes from Living with the Land is also a plus!

50th Anniversary Menu Items at Cosmic Ray's in Magic Kingdom

The 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing at Walt Disney World and the Walt inspired menu items are super fun!

Checkout the Mission to Mars Burger ($12.99)
It's a burger opped with bacon + macaroni & cheese, served on a bun dusted with crushed cheese puffs. It also comes with an order of fries. Or you can get an order of Walt's Chili Cheese Fries ($6.49.) These portion sizes are huge and super shareable too!

Refurbished Rooms at Disney's All Star Music Resort

The All Star Resorts at Disney World feature super attractive pricing, making it a great option if you don't plan to spend a ton of time at the resort but want to take advantage of those on-property perks! I love the refurbs the Value Resorts have seen in recent years.

Le Creperie de Paris in Epcot

We are so excited for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure to open October 1st, but there's also a delicious little Creperie opening in France at Epcot too!

'Ohana Dinner at Disney's Polynesian Resort

One of the things I have most look forward to was the return of 'Ohana to Walt Disney World! Their breakfast and dinner have always been the best. I'm just convinced you can't get a bad meal at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Standard View Deluxe Studio at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort

I love Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower for the proximity to Magic Kingdom and Monorail access. The Deluxe Studio at Bay Lake Tower can accommodate up to 4 adults, but it was a tight squeeze for 3 adults. I think it's better suited for 2 adults or 2 adults, 1 child.

Cabana Rental at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Did you know that you can rent a private poolside cabana at Disney's Bay Lake Tower, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, or Disney's Yacht Club Resort? These are great if you are having a down day and plan to spend a lot of time poolside!

2021 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

My favorite times of year are Epcot Festivals! As usual, the Food & Wine festival did not disappoint!

Specialty Cupcakes at Contempo Cafe in Disney's Contemporary Resort

Disney is known for delicious snacks and treats. Some of my favorites are the specialty cupcakes at the resorts. How cute is this Cinderella inspired cupcake?

Contemporary Grounds at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Contemporary Grounds is located on the ground floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort. It features gourmet coffee, iced teas, hot chocolate, smoothies, and assorted baked goods and pastries. How cute is this specialty Minnie Mouse Cappuccino?

'Ohana Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

The dinner at 'Ohana has always been one of my favorites, but this breakfast exceeded my expectations!

2 Bedroom Lake View Villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower are such great options if you want to be close to Magic Kingdom. Look at that view! It's also a great location to hop the monorail over to the TTC to get to Epcot too. There's also a walking trail that takes you directly to Magic Kingdom (about a 10 minute walk.) If that's not enough, these 2 Bedroom Villas can accommodate up to 9 adults, feature a full kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms, laundry room and 3 full bathrooms. They are a great option if you're traveling with your entire family.

King Suite at Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Hospitality Suite with Connected 2 Queen Room at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel

The Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge

The Tambu Lounge at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite lounges at Disney World. It's home to some of very fun and unique tropical drinks like the Backscratcher, Tropical Macaw, and the Island Sunset, but my personal favorite is the Lapu Lapu (and maybe it's because it's served IN A PINEAPPLE!)

The drink itself is a blend of Myer's Original Dark Rum, tropical fruit juices, and it's topped with MORE RUM. This drink just makes you feel like you should be on a tropical island, and it's a good thing the Polynesian Resort has all the tropical vibes you might need.

You can also order the Lapu Lapu at Kona Cafe, Ohana, and Trader Sam's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I Lava You Float from Sunshine Tree Terrace

Sunshine Tree Terrace is known for the Citrus Swirl, but you've got to try the I Lava You Float ($6.99.) It features Fanta Strawberry Soda with Passion Fruit flavor served with Dole Whip Orange. It's sprinkled with popping candy too. The flavors go together so well and it's such a fun little treat.

Refurbished Family Suites at Disney's All Star Music Resort

I was never a huge fan of these suites before, but I am so impressed with this refurbishment. Not only did the rooms get a much needed facelift, but the layout was improved upon too! The master suite features a queen bed, extra seating, it's own television, and a dresser. It also has access to it's own bathroom now too.

Reimagined Rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

I am obsessed with the newly reimagined rooms at Disney's Polynesian Resort and am super excited to show off some of these details with you!

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom

If you are like me and hate food waste, Cosmic Ray's is the place for you. Their entrees can easily be split between two people. And the burgers are huge and come with a large side of fries. They have a 1/3 lb/ Angus Bacon Cheeseburger ($11.99) and a 1/3 lb. Angus Cheeseburger ($10.99) on the menu. If you need a little something extra, the Kid's Menu Macaroni & Cheese is $6.69 a decent portion size too! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($11.99) os also a large portion and very good.

Cheshire Cat Tail in Magic Kingdom

The Cheshire Cat Tail dessert is a puff pastry twisted with chocolate and drizzled with pink and purple icing. It's flaky and just delicious! Did you know that these are currently being offered at Cosmic Ray's and the Lunching Pad in Magic Kingdom? But guess what? The Cheshire Cafe has reopened and I can't wait to stop by soon! Be sure to add this to your "must try" list!

Flory Farm Airbnb in Kentwood, Louisiana

We have impatiently waited all summer to go back to Flory Farm! My daughter choose this as her "back to school trip" over the beach and Disney World. Yes, Disney World! It's such a beautiful place.

Yachtsman Steakhouse, Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, and More Reopening!

I'm so excited that more restaurants are reopening at Walt Disney World in the next few weeks! Starting August 5, you can enjoy delicious seafood at Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom Park! Seafood favorites are back, including the Lobster Roll and Trio Platter with a combination of fried fish, fried shrimp, and chicken strips served with hushpuppies and french fries or green beans. Guests craving something other than seafood can try the Lighthouse Sandwich (hummus with tomato and broccoli slaw on multigrain bread) now comes with french fries or the Harbour Salad – a mix of greens, shredded cheddar, apples, onion, apple cider vinaigrette, and topped with chicken strips.

The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs

I love Poutine! Hot, thick French fries loaded with cheddar cheese curds and beef gravy...what's not to love?

Dining Off The Kids Menu at Disney World

Did you know that you can find more affordable, and filling, meals on the Kid's Menu at some quick service and table-service restaurants at Disney World?

One of my favorite Table-Service breakfasts is super affordable! I order the Kid's Mickey Waffles which comes with 2 Mickey Waffles and your choice of 2 selections like: turkey sausage, sausage, bacon, banana bread, or grapes. I always get the Olivia's Famous Grits and a cappuccino. Super filling breakfast and very affordable!

Dole Whip at Disney World

There is nothing quite as refreshing as a nice Dole Whip on a hot day at Disney. I'm excited to share with you some awesome options around Walt Disney World!

Woody's Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios

I love Woody's Lunch Box. It's really fun and they have good breakfast and lunch options! I was super excited to see that they had the Lemon-Blueberry Lunch Box Tart ($4.29) which is my new favorite, move over Chocolate Hazelnut and Raspberry!

The Totchos ($9.99) were delicious, like always! Super simple, just tator tots, beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, Queso with tomatoes, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions, but really good.

The BBQ Brisket Melt ($12.99) was also very good. Shredded smoked brisket, pickles, tangy barbecue sauce, melted cheddar and monterey jack on a grilled sourdough bread. It also comes with a side of tots.

Breakfast at Yak & Yeti Local Foods in Animal Kingdom

If you are planning to rope drop Animal Kingdom to head straight to Flight of Passage, I have a great breakfast recommendation for you! When you get done head over to Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes and they have these huge breakfast bowls. We could have easily split one. They come with your choice of bacon or sausage ($11.49) and the side of hash brown bites were $4.99. Great value for a big breakfast!

If you are looking for something sweet they also have pancake and sausage sticks and french toast on the kid's menu!

Kakamora Float at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom

In general, I am a Dole Whip fan. I love a good Dole Float, I love the Raspberry Swirl, I love the Coconut Cup, I'm not hard to please when it comes to Dole Whip. But my new favorite is the Kakamora Float ($6.99) which is coconut soft-serve on top of Pineapple Juice and Blue Curacao syrup, with a chocolate Kakamora Cake Pop (so it's kind of like two snacks in one!) So refreshing on a hot Florida day and super yummy. You can get it in the souvenir Tiki Sipper for $11.99.

Gaston's Tavern in Magic Kingdom

I'm always asked for my money saving Disney World tips and sharing food and going for things that are large portions are always part of those tips. And this is one of those meals. The Warm Cinnamon Roll ($6.49) at Gaston's Tavern is huge (and also very delicious!) It's warm and sweet and just perfect. It's also big enough that 3 adults will struggle to finish it.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort

We had dinner at Beaches & Cream and got the French Dip Sandwiches, which were really good! But the best part of the meal was definitely the Minnie Souvenir Sink ($23.00.) There was just no way that we could handle the Kitchen Sink ($35.00)

The Minnie Souvenir Sink includes vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream topped with pineapple, strawberry, hot fudge, peanut butter, whipped cream, Oreo cookies, chewy brownie, assortment of sprinkles and morsels, and cherries.

You also get to take the sink with you as a souvenir, but keep in mind you have to go and wash it out, so it's a bit of a messy souvenir, but super cute once it's all cleaned up!
