Mickey Waffles are a must for breakfast at Disney, BUT if you're staying at the Polynesian Tonga Toast is what you need. Delicious, fluffy, sugary, and stuffed with bananas! This is the one from Capt Cook's, but it's also available if you have a breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe and that one comes with a super yummy strawberry compote!
It's probably all in my head but I think Starbuck's just taste better in front of the castle! Don't forget to grab yourself a delicious coffee from the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom.
I'm torn between loving how different this is and being completely disgusted with it all at the same time. It shouldn't work, I shouldn't like it, but it's so different that I'm convinced it's good. The Poor Unfortunate Souls Float from Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom features a cream cheese soft serve, black raspberry syrup, and coke.
A giant Mickey Pretzel with the cheese sauce...enough said!
I heard so many mixed reviews about the Constance's For Better or Worse Wedding Cake but was pleasantly surprised. The cake itself is a super moist, "citrus-scented" cake. The raspberry flavor is very pronounced and the bavarian is smooth and rich and it's just a great little dessert!
A Lapu Lapu from the Tambu Lounge is just a must! Who doesn't love rum and fruit juices?
Kona Cafe made some changes to the dinner menu, but I was happy to see that the Crispy Pork Pot Stickers with the soy-vinaigrette dressing was still there. These are so delicious!
Unfortunately the Duck Confit Fried Rice is no longer available. We decided to try out the Asian Marinated Airline Chicken, which we were told featured flavors from the Duck Confit dish (it was very disappointing) but we also got the Mahi, Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato set on top of a Soy Veloute which was just a very funky dish, but it was absolutely delicious!
