Babymoon in Eureka Springs

In July we found out that our dreams had come true, I was expecting our first child! Once our families were informed and it was Facebook official, we decided we wanted to celebrate. So we headed to our second favorite place in the world (second only to Disney World lol) Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Eureka Springs is definitely my peaceful refugee, and I could be happy anywhere there, but we have just fallen in love with Eureka Springs Treehouses. We were so excited to have the opportunity to stay in one of their Castle Treehouses, as we had stayed in their Paris Treehouse previously, and it did not disappoint.

Eureka Springs Treehouses is a private and secluded site, where only guests are permitted (you need a remote to access the gate.) So it's always peaceful and you feel like you are in your own, private, world! While any of the treehouse options are beautiful to stay in, the castle is just stunningly themed. From the hidden entrance to the stairs that lead to the jacuzzi tub, and the knight who guards the AMAZING walk-in shower, we just couldn't get enough.

We visited many of our favorite haunts and ventured to a few new places. As usual, I spent the majority of the trip day dreaming about owning a Bed and Breakfast or a shop in town. This place speaks to me on so many levels; creatively, emotionally, spiritually. I swear it just calls me back.

Of course, no trip to Eureka Springs is complete without visiting Turpentine Creek, the Wildlife Refugee. On our first ever trip to Eureka Springs, I fell in love with Bam Bam, and I was so happy to see that he now has his own area, complete with a pool! We got to see him ham it up for the camera and frolic around. If you have not checked out the amazing work the volunteers are doing at Turpentine Creek, I highly recommend looking into. It's an amazing organization and your money goes to great use.
