Epcot's 2018 Flower and Garden Festival

This Spring Epcot celebrated it's 25th Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! You get to explore the outdoors, view beautiful topiaries and gardens, taste fresh flavors from Outdoor Kitchens and rock along with classic bands at the Garden Rocks Concert Series. (or you can just relax and smell the flowers!)

The topiaries are definitely something to behold! I wish Disney could landscape my yard!

Of course, it's not the Flower and Garden Festival without a nice, cold Frozen Violet Lemonade from Pineapple Promenade in Showcase Plaza! This is definitely one of my favorite.

The Chilaquiles, from Jardin de Fiesta in Mexico, served with Ranchera Sauce, Chorizo, Mexican Cream, and Cotija Cheese was a big hit and a surprise favorite! The Capirotada (bread pudding) served with Rompope was "okay" but definitely not a "wow dish." And as pretty as the Rose Margarita was...it definitely wasn't my kind of drink.

The Fried Chicken Dumplings with Peanut Sauce from Lotus House in China were AMAZING! Another favorite of the whole festival. Good texture, good taste, and the peanut sauce is delicious.

While not the most visually appealing dish, the Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyere Cheese from Bauernmarkt in Germany was another highlight of my entire trip. I could eat this every day it was so good!

Speaking of things I could eat everyday...why is Frushi not a thing everywhere? Fresh pineapple, strawberry, and melon rolled with Coconut Rice, sprinkled with toasted coconut, and served with whipped cream with raspberry sauce. This is amazing! Hanami in Japan does.not.disappoint!

and for me, it's just not a trip to Epcot if I don't head to France for a macaron. The Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette from Fleur de Lys was another favorite and a really fun play on your traditional macaron presentation!
