Refurbished Rooms at Disney's All Star Movies Resort

I just got back from a stay at Disney's All Star Movies Resort and got the chance to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms, like at Disney's Pop Century Resort. We were in a Preferred Room in the Toy Story Section. It's funny because I've stayed at All Star Movies two times previously; in 2001 and in 2015. In 2001 we stayed in the Mighty Ducks section and in 2015 we stayed in the Toy Story Section. Between 2001 - 2015 it didn't feel like much had changed, but this trip was like being at a whole new resort!

Just like at Pop Century, when you enter you're going to be greeted by the queen size sleeper table and a regular queen size bed.

When you move the chairs and fold the table bed down, there's a really cute mural of Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

There's a dresser with 3 pull out drawers and an area with the safe, and of course the television that we didn't turn on a single time the entire trip lol.

Let me, for the billionth time, rave about how much I love these refurbishments that have brought so much storage area and lighting to the vanity area!

And let me say how much I still loathe the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. But the bath tub / shower combo is really nice.

There's also an area to hang up your clothing and an ironing board. The iron was stuffed behind the pillow, so good luck getting it!

There's a bar area with a mini fridge (keep in mind this is a beverage fridge and doesn't keep things all that cool, but it works for water), coffee maker, and an ice bucket.

The pull out drawer above the fridge has all your fixings for hot tea and coffee!

Honestly, if the buses weren't such a headache at the All Star resorts, Movies would be a contender for my top 5 favorite resorts. The fact that we had to use Lyft so much was the only downside. Overall, it's great for the value and the food courts is one of my favorites out of all of the value resorts.
