Honestly, my expectations for Pat O' Briens was not very high. We were just looking for somewhere with some fun nightlife, and that part did not disappoint. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and pianists were all terrific the night we dined in!
We got the Pat O' Brien's Wings ($13.95) with their signature sauce, subbed Ranch for blue cheese, with celery. Honestly, this was the only thing we enjoyed about the meal.
The Cajun Shrimp & Grits ($18.95) with Cajun Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, roasted corn, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, herbs, and smoked cheddar grits. The grits in the dish had a great flavor but the Andouille took over the entire dish and it was a bit greasy.
N'awlins Shrimp Po'Boy ($14.95) with crispy shrimp, Cajun mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, on a hoagie roll. So, I know what you're thinking..."Ashley, why would you order a po'boy in Florida?" and honestly, it's because I'm a glutton for punishment. The shrimp were bland and the Cajun mayo had a really terrible flavor that ruined the entire dish. I still to this day think it was rancid.
Overall, I would really only recommend stopping by for drinks and appetizers to enjoy the nighttime entertainment. I would skip the Entree section completely!
