Carnival Valor Oceanview Stateroom

We took a, much needed, 4 day cruise to Cozumel aboard the Carnival Valor! We were a group of 8 adults and it was just such a fun experience all the way around.

We decided to book a line of 6C staterooms on Main Deck. Our stateroom was #2279. These rooms have a large picture window, two twin beds that convert to a queen, a closet and storage space, a private bathroom with shower, and a living area with vanity and seating. The room also featured a television, telephone, and a personal safe. Some of these staterooms are equipped with a sofa bed and/or upper Pullman-style bunk bed to accommodate a third or fourth guest.

When you enter the room there is a closet to one side and the entrance to the bathroom on the other side.

The bathroom and shower are very small, but there's a surprisingly decent amount of room on the actual vanity. The lighting in both the room and the bathroom are horrendous.

While cruise rooms are notoriously small I was quite impressed with the amount of storage space Carnival has managed to include in these 220sqft rooms!

Our steward was the best. He helped us plan an in-room surprise for one of the couples and we loved our towel animals each day! We are impatiently waiting to plan our next cruise with Carnival!
