If you have ever wanted to feel like you were a part of the Cars, Little Mermaid, or Finding Nemo movie, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is where you need to go! This Resort brings those movies to life and throws you right into them and is designed with families in mind. From the family suites to tons of resort activities and the largest resort pool, there's just no shortage of fun to be had here.
There is no denying that I'm a huge kid at heart, so all the oversized characters around the resort just make me insanely happy. Even you aren't staying here, this resort is definitely worth a visit just to take some selfies (and the food court isn't a slouch either.)
The family suites feature a seperate bedroom with a queen bed. You can enter one of the bathrooms from the bedroom.
They have a comfy sofa bed in the main living area.
As well as a little kitchenette. The kitchenettes are a great option when you're traveling with kids because sometimes you don't want to drag everyone to the food court to heat up your leftovers. You can heat things up right in your room. You can also bring some of your own food you can heat up, saving you a little money!
And, of course, in the main living area you've also got the television and some nice storage.
The table also folds down and turns into a bed!
The bathrooms both have some good space to move around. This one had the walk-in showers, but you can request tubs. There's good counter space and a lot of storage area under the counter.
Of course, per my usual, I found a mirror I loved! But, come on! Tell me that's not a super cute mirror.
I think this resort is a great option for families. The Little Mermaid Standard rooms can accommodate families of 4. The Cars, Lion King, and Finding Nemo Family suites can accommodate up to 6, so there's definitely an option for everyone!
