The newly refurbished rooms at Yacht Club feature laminate floors (no more carpet) and lots of storage under the bed for your luggage and park shopping hauls. The room also features a nice little writing desk. Previously these rooms were a little "overly" nautical and seemed more cartoonish than they did luxe. The new decor definitely feels more luxurious!
The color palette is very appealing, the rooms are very bright and have a crisp quality to them.
A favorite little detail for me were the curtains. They feature Disney character constellations that, again, are just a wonderfully subtle nod to the nautical theme, without a giant ship wheel headboard. (Is it obvious that I thought those were terrible?)
Along with the two queen beds these rooms also feature a fold down sofa day bed.
Another thing I am loving about the refurbished rooms across Disney property are the inclusion of all the USB plugins. I also find the gold accents on the dresser just beautiful and a nice touch to the room. The dresser itself has nice storage and there's also a large built in armoire (which I forgot to snap a picture of) that features additional storage.
While not the largest bathrooms at a deluxe resort, these are still a lot bigger than the bathrooms at the value and moderate resorts!
Hey, that's me! The bathroom has great lighting, lots of counter space, and under sink storage. And of course, everyone's favorite, H20 brand amenities!
With being a 10 minute walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot and having, arguably, the best resort pool, Yacht Club should definitely be on your "Disney Resort Bucket List." But these new rooms definitely amp the resort up!
