Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a moderate resort and the sister resort to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I really love both of these resorts and think they are great options, especially for couples visiting Walt Disney World!
I stayed in the Royal Guest Room, which is their special room category, and I just have to take a moment to share some of the tiny little "royal" details around the room. Like look at this footstool, right out of Beauty and the Beast!

And there's a whole wall of Princess Portraits!
This room features two very comfortable queen size beds.
And my favorite feature is the fiber optic light show headboard. You can switch it on and there are fireworks right on the headboard. It's so pretty and such a unique feature!
The vanity area features privacy curtains and has two sinks.
More special touches like the genie lamp faucets!
The table features a message from Princess Tiana too.
This room features a dresser with a little storage, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. Of course all rooms also come equipped with a television.
Even the air conditioning unit has a royal touch!
The whole resort is very peaceful and really feels like you're visiting the southern Bayou! Riverside features six pools, five of the six are quiet pools. The main pool, 'Ol Man Island, features a waterslide!
