Be Our Guest Restaurant

Be Our Guest...whether you've been to Disney or not, you've heard of it! It's beautifully themed and everyone has been talking about it since it opened. Whether it's to say they love it or that it's over hyped or sometimes say things that aren't true like, "It's where you eat with Belle and the Beast." Sorry folks, not true, but we will get back to that! With dinner at Be Our Guest changing from a la carte into a prix fixe dinner menu starting July 27, 2018, I thought now would be a great time to share a little about why this is a must visit on every-single-one of my trips - and my opinion on the new changes.

Lets be honest, it's hard not to fall in love with this place. When you step in you feel like you've just strolled into one of your favorite Disney movies (or atleast my favorite!) The three dining rooms are beautifully decorated and the atmosphere in the West Wing can make you forget you are in a restaurant at all!

The food has always been a huge debate. Is it worth the price? Is it worth the headache of hunting down a coveted Advanced Dining Reservation for? Is it worth the wait? I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about the food and from my personal perspective, I've never had a bad meal here. I love the Croque Madame for breakfast, which is an open-faced ham sandwich topped with a fried egg, gruyere cheese, and béchamel. It also comes with fresh fruit and a selection of pastries. For dinner I have always enjoyed their Grilled Strip Steak with garlic-herb butter and pommel frites. And of course, not trip is complete without the Grey Stuff - which really is delicious! Breakfast and Lunch at Be Our Guest are quick-service style and 1 Quick Service Credit per person (though both still require Advanced Reservations due to their popularity) and Dinner is table-service and was previously 1 Table Service Credit per person.

Starting July 27th, dinner will now be 2 Table Service Credits per person. The menu will be completely transformed but will still include fan favorites like the delicious French Onion Soup as an appetizer and new offerings such as the Grilled Center-Cut Filet Mignon with potato au gratin, Romano Beans, Cipollini marmalade, and a cherry-laced red wine reduction. There's a lot of controversy surrounding these changes but I'm personally excited to try out the new menu!

And of course, no meal at Be Our Guest is complete without meeting your host, The Beast, in his study after you've finished your meal!
