Voodoo Doughnut at Universal CityWalk
The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium
I had high expectations for a place that looks like a real life Steampunk Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and it did not disappoint! Whether you're looking for decadent, artisanal chocolates, a savory feast, or an amazing dessert, there's something for everyone.
Butterbeer Recipe
One of my favorite travel treats is a frozen Butterbeer from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando! I've been wanting one and I've seen tons of recipes online, but some are really complicated and some taste absolutely nothing like butterbeer, but I think I finally found a simple and close enough combination to tide me over in a pinch, and I wanted to share it with you too!
Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort
I just got back from a quick trip to Universal Orlando and had the opportunity to stay at Universal's Cabana Bay Resort. I absolutely loved this resort! The retro style was so cute. The quick service dining area looks like a drive-in, there's a bowling alley, a lazy river, great quick service restaurant, and a Starbucks! This is such a great resort for families. Lots to do at the resort, free and quick transportation to the parks, and early park admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Cinderella Castle New Paint Job
I have been anxiously awaiting the moment I got to walk up and see the new paint job for myself, and boy...it was an emotional experience (like always.) This castle has always evoked such a happy, nostalgic feeling for me. And seeing something new, but so familiar was really nice. I ended up spending way too much time taking pictures from different angles, just admiring every part!
My Travel Essentials
Over the years I have bought many travel essentials...and some not so essentials. This means I've spent money on things I can't live without and I've also done things like spent $20 on an "airplane blanket" in the airport. Incase you are unfamiliar, it's like a giant cheese cloth that acts nothing like a blanket at all. I want to share with you some of my favorite travel essentials, including an updated list of what's in my theme park bag!

Favorite Eats at Disney World Part 4
Mickey Waffles are a must for breakfast at Disney, BUT if you're staying at the Polynesian Tonga Toast is what you need. Delicious, fluffy, sugary, and stuffed with bananas! This is the one from Capt Cook's, but it's also available if you have a breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe and that one comes with a super yummy strawberry compote!
2020 Epcot Food & Wine Festival
Every year we have a habit of going straight for all of our favorite items at the festival, but this year we decided to hit some different options too (and those old favorites!) And how cute is this setup?
Favorite Eats at Disney World Part 3
Is it a favorite eats post if it doesn't include Mickey Waffles? But seriously, the Mickey Waffles from Primo Piatto at Disney's Riviera Resort are extra yummy! The iced coffees from La Petit Cafe were also very good and a step up from your usual coffee selection at the resorts.
1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Riviera Resort
I honestly can't rave enough about Disney's Riviera Resort. The resort itself is beautiful, easy access to the Skyliner, all the dining options are delicious, and the villas are stunning and so comfortable.
Deluxe Studio at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows
Staying at the Polynesian has been on my bucket list for years now, so this trip was definitely one I had been looking forward to. The resort is set right on the Seven Seas Lagoon and you truly feel like you have landed in a tropical paradise! It's just an iconic location and it's amazing to think that it was one of two of the first on-site hotels on property. Another great thing about the Polynesian is the amount of transportation. You can take the monorail (monorail access will not be available starting October 2020), a ferry boat, bus, or you can even walk over to the TTC. The resort is about to undergo a huge overhaul and I'll share some information about that below!
Tower Studio at Disney's Riviera Resort
The Tower Studio rooms are a new room type for Disney and are designed for 2 people, so they make a really nice and quaint option if you're on your honeymoon! These are not an ideal option if you're looking for a larger room to do a lot of moving about.

Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends
Disney's Riviera Resort has quickly become my all time favorite Walt Disney World Resort. And let me tell you, the character breakfast at Topolino's Terrace is the best character breakfast at Disney World too! Chef Mickey, who?
Favorite Eats at Disney World Part 2
I'm having a hard time accepting that 2019 has come and gone and it's 2020, but to start off the New Year I wanted to share some of the best things I ate at Disney World recently! And it would not be a "favorite Disney food" post without mentioning the Bacon Mac n Cheese Fries at Casey's Corner in Magic Kingdom. Seriously, there has not been a trip since these were announced that we did not order two of these bad boys (yep, we can't share, they are THAT good!)
