This trip we decided to do something we never do. We didn't make a lot of dining reservations beforehand. We decided to wing it and if we got lucky and got in, great, if not, no biggie. We walked right up to Planet Hollywood around lunchtime and got a reservation right away!
Being huge fans of Guys burgers on Carnival Cruises, we had to get burgers! We decided to get a variety. First up, and probably one of the best burgers at Disney, is the Prime Time American Kobe. It's an American-style kobe beef burger with smoked gouda, cheddar, caramelized onion jam, LTOP and donkey sauce on a brioche bun served with triple fries.
Next up, and also really good (but a noticeably not as good beef) was the Bacon Mac-n-Cheese Burger. This is one of Guy's Award-Winning Burgers. It's got applewood-smoked bacon, six cheese mac-n-cheese cheddar, LTOP, crispy onion straws, and donkey sauce on a brioche bun served with triple fries.
I had to stray from the pack and I went with the Bird is the Word chicken sandwich. It's a crispy fried all-natural chicken breast with buttermilk rank, pickles, cheddar, slaw, and a honey hot hot sauce on a brioche bun served with triple fries. This was a really good chicken sandwich!
Overall, the food was really great! It's got a really fun atmosphere that I could see being something kids of all ages would enjoy. A lot of hype moments. Plus there are tons of displays featuring movie memorabilia all over the place, that's a lot of fun to check out!
